Our powder coat is electrostatically applied and cured at 200°C for exceptional durability and scratch resistance. For weekly dusting, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For deeper cleans, wipe with a damp cloth soaked in lukewarm water and mild pH-neutral soap, then dry thoroughly with a clean towel.

For clients with Raw Waxed or Industrial Charcoal finished frames, the steel is sealed with natural microcrystalline carnauba wax. To maintain moisture repellency and preserve the rich gunmetal luster, apply a thin coat of clear paste wax using a soft cotton cloth once every 6 to 12 months, followed by gentle buffing.

Our timber tops are treated with penetrating organic hardwax oils that nourish the timber pores without creating plastic film coatings. Wipe spills immediately—especially acidic liquids such as red wine, coffee, or citrus. Avoid positioning timber surfaces directly above heating radiators or in direct unshaded tropical sunlight.

All Sarkar Steel Furniture pieces include pre-installed high-density rubber or felt glide pads to safeguard marble, hardwood, and vitrified tiles against friction. Inspect floor pads annually and replace any pads worn by floor grit. For uneven heritage floors, adjustable brass levelers can be calibrated with a slight twist.

Accidents happen over generations of active living. If your furniture encounters accidental deep gouges, heavy impact abrasions, or moisture stains, connect directly with our workshop floor. We supply matched touch-up paint pens, restoration wax pucks, or can arrange on-site atelier re-finishing.
